About GFWC Indiana
Purpose
GFWC Indiana is part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), an international women's organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through community volunteerism.
Our Clubs
GFWC Indiana is comprised of 16 women’s clubs across the state whose members are dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others in their local communities. With over 260 members across the state, these volunteer women’s club organizations attend to the diverse needs of their community through hands-on service projects, fundraising, education, leadership and friendship. We advocate for women and children, meet the needs as community volunteers.
In 2024 our clubs completed
- 328 Community Service Projects
- Volunteered over 37,000 Hours
- Donated over $101,000 in community grants, scholarships, monetary gifts
- Provided over $34,000 worth of in-kind donations.
They also reported reading over 600 books!
